Key Responsibilities
- Review radiology reports to assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes.
- Ensure coding accuracy for various radiology modalities, including MRI, CT, and ultrasound.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to clarify documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiology coding guidelines and payer policies.
- Participate in coding audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education – Must a have bachelor’s degree.
- Certification – Should be either CPC or CCS certified.
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience required.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
